Rishikesh is holy city and popular tourist destination in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is also called as the Gateway to the Himalayas. It is located at the distance of 25 km away from another holy city of Haridwar. It is served as the starting point for traveling the destinations of Chardham Yatra - Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. The city is associated with Lord Vishnu and gets its names after Lord Vishnu who appeared to a Rishi as Lord Hrishikesh as a result of his penance.Rishikesh is globally famous for ayurveda and yoga. Day 1: Paris (or other source) – Delhi
Arrival in the morning or breakfast at the hotel according to your arrival time. Capital of the Indian Union since the 13th century, Delhi has never ceased to be a center of power. At least eight cities have succeeded in these places. It is divided into two parts: Old Delhi and New Delhi, the capital founded in 1911 by the British. Beginning of the city tour and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi -Rishikesh
Morning leave Delhi for Rishikesh. Arrive Rishikesh and drive to camp. On arrival at the camp welcome drinks with camp orientation followed by lunch. Post lunch, you start the first exciting river running from Marine Drive to Shivpuri through rapids like Three Blind Mice, Cross-Fire and Body Surfing. Evening tea with snacks and beach games. Dinner with campfire.
Day 3 : Rishikesh
Moving to adventure, a major attraction for Indian and foreign tourists at Rishikesh is the white water rafting in the medium to tough rapids of Ganga. Apart from river rafting, tourists can also look forward for backpacking, hiking and camping and of late, bungee jumping at India's first bungee jumping camp at Rishikesh. Evening tea with snacks and beach games. Dinner with campfire.
Day 4 : Rishikesh - Delhi
Morning leave rishikesh for Delhi.
Day 5 : Delhi - Paris
Morning departure after breakfast for Delhi and according to your flight time you go to the international airport.
